One country. Four seasons. Endless ways to experience it.

CHINA THROUGH THE SEASONS

The rhythm of a vast country

WHY TRAVEL CHINA BY SEASON?

China is not one climate, one landscape or one way of travelling.

Stretching from tropical coastlines in the south to snow-covered mountains in the north and highlands far above sea level, China changes dramatically throughout the year.

The same destination can feel completely different from one season to another. Spring brings blossoms and fresh green landscapes. Summer opens up mountains, rivers and highland escapes. Autumn reveals golden forests, clear skies and ancient landscapes in their most atmospheric light. Winter transforms the north into a world of snow while the south remains warm and inviting.

Choosing when to travel is therefore part of choosing how you want to experience China.

Rather than asking only where to go, we believe the better question is: when do you want to experience it?

March – May · Mild & Blooming

China awakens in soft light and fresh green. Southern canals mirror ancient towns, gardens burst with colour, and the countryside comes alive. From Hangzhou’s West Lake to Lijiang’s mountain blossoms, spring is made for wandering – slowly, beautifully.
